Todung Mulya Lubis is the founder and Senior Partner of Lubis Santosa & Partners Law Firm. He graduated from Faculty of Law University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum) in 1974 and attended law course at the Institute of American and International Law in Dallas (1977). Todung Mulya Lubis obtained his master degree (LL.M) from University of California at Berkeley in 1978 and Harvard University in 1987. He also holds Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from the University of California at Berkeley (1990). He speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Todung Mulya Lubis is heavily engaged in all corporate and commercial practice as well as dispute resolution works of the firm. He led the corporate and commercial practice group of the firm in the number of major transactions. He also intensively involved and led the firm's dispute resolution practice group in high profile litigations of the firm. Todung Mulya Lubis has been described in Chambers Global as the "most highly effective advocates in Indonesia" and "an invaluable lobbyist with an extraordinary profile and enormous clout".

Todung Mulya Lubis is a member of Indonesian Bar Association (IKADIN), Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants (Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal/HKHPM) and International Bar Association (IBA). He is also a licensed Receiver and Administrator as well as Registered Patent Consultant. Currently, he is a panel arbitrator of the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia/BANI) and the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) Paris.
In addition to his professional activities, T Mulya Lubis is a lecturer in a number of universities in Indonesia. He lectures law related subjects in the Faculty of Law University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Faculty of Law Atmajaya University, Yogyakarta and Faculty of Law University of North Sumatra, Medan. He is also active as a speaker in various onshore and offshore workshops, seminars or conference in the field of law and human rights.
