Lelyana Santosa was the attorney involved, whether as the leader or member of the LSM team of attorneys, assigned in defending the interest of clients, such as Time Inc, PT INCO, Bank Multicor, PT Apac Inti Corpora, Total E&P Indonesia, Citibank, N.A, Halliburton, Diebold Inc, PT Diebold Indonesia, Proctor & Gamble, PT Asuransi Hanjin Korindo, PT Asuransi Samsung Tugu, PT Staco Graha, Matahari Group, PT Global Putra International, PT Nestle, PT Grahawita Santika, and PT Tirta Investmana, in civil, commercial disputes and arbitrations. Furthermore, she has handled high-profile media law cases, representing renowned entities such as Time Inc, Asian Wall Street Journal, Matra Magazine, and Tempo Magazine. Lelyana was also part of the legal team representing several Indonesian media associations in a Judicial Review against the Broadcasting Law at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia.
In her involvement with industrial relation litigations, she successfully represented clients like The Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) during the closure of several national banks in 1998, Arco/BP West Java Ltd., PT Pertamina (Persero), Exxon Mobil Inc, and others. Additionally, she has advised both overseas and local clients on administrative law and criminal issues related to their business operations in Indonesia. Moreover, Lelyana provides valuable counsel on general dispute resolution matters.
Notably, more recently she led the legal defense team of a high profile person in connection to the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) export case and was also part of the legal representation for a group of real estate companies in the asset blocking and seizure case against the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) Task Force.
Lelyana Santosa is a respected member of the Indonesian Bar Association (IKADIN) and the Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants (Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal/HKHPM).
