Marolita Setiati Moch-Anwar

Marolita Setiati Moch-Anwar is an engineer and a senior associate at the IP practice group of the firm. She specializes in patent related issues mostly for chemical, mechanical and electrical areas of emphasis. Recently she has been exercising in industrial design issues. She involves in drafting, reviewing, filing and providing technical review of the inventions for patent and industrial design applications.

Marolita Setiati Moch-Anwar graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department of University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA (BSc) in 1991. Later, she pursued a further degree in Business Administration of Technology (MM) at the Bandung Institut of Technology ITB) and graduated in 1993.

Marolita Setiati Moch-Anwar is an engineer and a senior associate at the IP practice group of the firm. She specializes in patent related issues mostly for chemical, mechanical and electrical areas of emphasis.

She joined the firm in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, she involved in sustainable development and implementation program affiliated with University of Illinois, USA. As an engineering consultant, she worked in research and development involved in the development of friendly environment vehicles

In Lubis Santosa & Maramis, she had been representing local and overseas clients in the following Intellectual Property Rights matters:

  • Drafting, reviewing, filing and providing technical review of the inventions for patent and industrial design applications. Current cases involve leading US Intellectual Property firm, US Pharmaceutical company, German companies, Malaysian Research and Development industry, Japanese Pharmaceutical company, Japanese Steel company, Japanese Food company and natural person applicants;
  • Preparing technical review and presentation for hearing especially for industrial design cases. Current cases involve leading German company in chain saw industry, leading local company in chain saw industry and small industry;
  • WHO project: Providing a review on parallel imports in pharmaceuticals: implications for competition and prices in developing countries.
